Lekuku is Laikipiak Maasai, and is not exactly sure of his age but believes it to be between 80 and 90 years old. He is an elder with two wives and 20 children.
“My best memories are from when I was a warrior. It is a long time ago now but I remember it so clearly. We defended our cows against the lions when they came. We fought cattle rustlers with our spears. We were strong, we were fierce, we were afraid of nothing. We were kings then.”
Once signed, prints are sent rolled in a tube, ready to be framed. Please note that sizes displayed reflect the size of the print only which includes a border. It takes approximately 8-10 weeks for a print to be produced and delivered and we try our best to reduce this where possible.
