Wajir is Samburu and is 70. She came from Samburu to be married a long time ago.
“I bead and I am a pastoralist. I love working with the Ol Lentille beading project. One important change in life was when is I stopped wearing skins and started wearing clothes. I have put on a skin for this photograph, but skins were so uncomfortable! Having access to clothes has made such a difference.”
Once signed, prints are sent rolled in a tube, ready to be framed. Please note that sizes displayed reflect the size of the print only which includes a border. It takes approximately 8-10 weeks for a print to be produced and delivered and we try our best to reduce this where possible. Prices are given in British Pound Sterling, excluding shipping which is added at the check out.
