Naisimu is 32, a Laikipiak Maasai senior warrior, and the head of his family. He has 1-2 years left as a warrior to mentor the new generation of warriors.
“I love my culture: the braids, the dancing with girls, the freedom of being a warrior. I love my cows, they are a warrior’s treasure. I do not fear anything. I want to educate my children, I want them to have a better life, drive cars and live in a city. With education, even flying planes is possible. But however far they go, I will want them to keep a strong cultural identity.”
Once signed, prints are sent rolled in a tube, ready to be framed. Please note that sizes displayed reflect the size of the print only which includes a border. It takes approximately 8-10 weeks for a print to be produced and delivered and we try our best to reduce this where possible. Prices are given in British Pound Sterling, excluding shipping which is added at the check out. Â
